Podiatry | Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery | Surgery, Foot & AnkleAs a foot and ankle specialist, I understand how debilitating foot and ankle pain can be, and how it can limit your ability to enjoy the things you love. By carefully listening to your symptoms and clearly explaining your condition, we can develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. My goal is to help you get back on your feet and back to doing what you enjoy as quickly and safely as possible.
I am board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and specialize in adult foot and ankle reconstruction. In my practice I treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions such as arthritis, flatfeet, fractures and sprains. When possible, I utilize a holistic approach, striving to exhaust all conservative treatments before considering surgery. When surgery is necessary, I focus on minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques to promote faster healing and minimize scarring.
I also have a special interest in limb preservation and the prevention of amputations. In my weekly wound care clinic, we use advanced wound care products and surgical techniques to offload pressure points and accelerate wound healing.
Before entering clinical practice, I graduated second in my class from the Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine and was inducted into the Pi Delta National Honor Society. I then completed a residency in podiatric medicine and reconstructive surgery at Ascension-St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana, where I trained with an orthopedic surgery group and received advanced training in sports medicine, trauma, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. During my fellowship at St. Luke’s University Health Network, I further specialized in surgical techniques for treating limb-threatening wounds, deformities, and infections.
On a personal note, I was born in New Jersey and grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I am married to an optometrist who also works at St. Luke’s Health Network, and we have three energetic boys. We enjoy participating in their sports and church activities together.
